Summary:Analytical data are presented on the free acids, the methyl esters, the methyl ester triacetates and the methyl ester triacetate semicarbazones of C-21 glucosiduronic acid conjugates of six adrenal hormones. Chromatographie mobilities of all of these compounds in three or more solvent systems are given. The stability of the steroidal glucosiduronic acids in alkali, their hydrolysis by β-glucuronidase and their partition coefficients in several solvent systems are also given.
