Electrophoretic study of hexosaminidases. Hexosaminidase C

Electrophoresis on cellulose acetate of extracts of various human tissues showed consistently, in addition to the already known hexosaminidases A and B, a faster band called hexosaminidase C. Its relative intensity was greater in extracts from embryonic than from adult tissues.
