Summary: | A case of low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma arising within a Warthin's tumor is reported. The carcinoma appeared to have originated from the hyperplastic atypical epithelium of the Warthin's tumor. It did not infiltrate the capsule of the lymph node in which the Warthin's tumor developed. After 6 years of follow-up, there is no evidence of recurrence or metastasis. The literature on malignant Warthin's tumor is reviewed. |
