Summary:To describe the critical role of endovascular treatment and safety for the patients who presented with intraventricular hemorrhage owing to rupture of the distal lenticulostriate artery aneurysms. Three patients who underwent endovascular treatment for distal lenticulostriate artery aneurysms related to intraventricular hemorrhage were selected and retrospectively reviewed. Patients were treated successfully using endovascular embolization without any complications. Endovascular therapy is available and safe as a treatment option for distal lateral lenticulostriate artery aneurysms. •LSA aneurysms are rare and manifest with intraventricular and basal ganglia hemorrhage.•Aneurysms should be treated promptly in the case of rebleed.•Aneurysms should be examined using high-resolution MRI.•Endovascular therapy is an available and safe treatment option.
