Summary:Feasibility on tilt double steel arch tower segment cantilever assembling at the site is analyzed by finite element simulation, and the steel arch tower deformation and stress of each step during segment cantilever assembling process are gotten, the cantilever assembling program is improved by adjustment of the first time tension of the horizontal cables and temporary cables. These results are successfully used to control deformation and stress of steel arch tower during segment cantilever assembling, which provides the correct of simulation analysis and pioneers a new approach of similar projects design and construction.
