Summary: | In this article we derive the recurrence relations for the single and product moments based on progressively Type-II right-censored order statistics for the extended exponential (EE) distribution. The estimation of the model parameters under progressively Type-II right-censored order statistics are obtained by maximum likelihood method. Furthermore, Monte Carlo simulation study has been carried out to compare the performances of the proposed method. Finally, a real data set has been analyed for illustrative purposes. |
