Summary: | The basic principle of radiation therapy is the treatment of a tumor with the maximum reduction in radiation doses to normal organs and tissues. You must implement a plan of irradiation, which will provide the recommended absorbed dose of ionizing radiation in the tumor volume and minimal dose to the tumor surrounding normal tissues and critical organs, at least, less than the tolerant dose for these tissues. There are very stringent requirements on the accuracy of realization of the values of doses. Therefore, the value of the dose must be controlled during the irradiation session. In this case, we will have the opportunity to interrupt the session, and to adjust the program of irradiation to avoid bad consequences. For these purposes, "NIITFA" has developed and manufactured multi-channel dosimeter MKD-04. Specialists Held the first technical and clinical testing of the device, the results confirm the high level capabilities of the dosimeter. |
