Summary: | The paper deals with statistical processing of field data gained from tribotechnical diagnostics. The data originate from an engine oil analysis. The oil was taken at various locations from several hundreds of medium lorries T810 used in the Czech army. The goal was to propose regression models describing dependence of these quantities on kilometres travelled. Such models can be used, among others, to estimate first hitting time for individual quantities indicating the necessity of the oil change. Two types of models have been used - linear regression models and nonlinear regression models - which seem to be the most appropriate choice for the description of processed data. |
