Study of the early stage of the rapid-proton process

A series of experiments were made to investigate the early stage of the rapid-proton process. Specifically, the nuclear reaction chain at N=11 was discussed, including a recent result on 25Si. A discussion with nova model calculations using the present experimental results is also made.
