Benefit of G-CSF for methotrexate-induced neutropenia in rheumatoid arthritis

A case in which recombinant granulocyte colony-stimulating factor was successfully used as treatment for severe neutropenia in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis receiving low-dose pulse methotrexate who had developed renal insufficiency is discussed.
