Summary:Disseminated Mycobacterium bovis is an uncommon side‐effect of intravesical Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) therapy that may be mediated through Mycobacteraemia. This case report, of a 77‐year‐old man with a history of intravesical BCG therapy and recent cardiac surgery, highlights the need for patients with similar features on history, presenting with generalised symptoms, to have mycobacterial cultures included in their workup.
