Summary:Faced with the magnanimous information, users have to use search engine. This article firstly introduces the concept, current situation and process of natural language processing (NLP) and the effect of natural language processing in search engine. Then, in terms of concepts and classifications, traditional search engine has many deficiencies that can not completely satisfy the requirements of users. The key technology of intelligent search engine and the development trend of the combination of natural language processing and search engine technology in the future are discussed.
