Summary:This article establishes a flow field model by using Gambit, and leads the meshed model into Fluent to calculate, achieving an appropriate value of current drag coefficient, then calculates the natural mode of vibration, the natural frequency and the natural period of the submerged floating tunnel tether, subsequently carries the mode analysis to the tethers by changing the current velocity, achieving the velocities that can induce the first order and second order modal vibration of the tethers, laying a foundation for the future study of the dynamic response of the submerged floating tunnel tethers.
