Sex steroids concentrations in Russian sturgeon (Acipenser guel denstaedti Br.) serum and coelomic fluid at final oocyte maturation

Sex steroid levels in the coelomic fluid (CF) were lower than in the blood serum (BS) both in spring form (SF) and winter form (WF) of the female Russian sturgeon at the time of ovulation. CF hormone profile may be of relevance for maintaining the viability of ovulated eggs.
