Summary: | While Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) have attracted increasing attention, there are only a limited number of papers on exchange current density, representing electrode activity to describe and simulate SOFC performance. In this study, theoretical relationships on anode exchange current density has been derived as a function of various operational parameters by taking into account elementary reaction processes. Analytical relations under various boundary conditions are also derived with respect to gas partial pressures. |
