Summary:Conductive poly(diphenylamine-co-aniline) was prepared by electrochemical and chemical oxidative polymerization. Using the electrochemical method, homo- and copolymer thin films with different feed ratio of aniline and diphenylamine were synthesized under cyclic voltammetric conditions in aqueous sulfuric acid on the surface of the working Glassy carbon electrode. The copolymer formation, their electrochemical behavior and the structure were examined. The analogous homo- and copolymers were prepared via a chemical oxidative polymerization by the interfacial method (chloroform and an aqueous solution) in 1M H 2 SO 4 or 1M CH 3 SO 3 H in the presence of ammonium persulfate as an oxidant. SEM and conductivity measurements were applied for the characterization of the obtained copolymers.
