Summary:The regional features of the vertical structure of bioluminescence field have been studied in summer along Crimean coast. Six regions, which differ in bioluminescence vertical distribution were identified. The position of the layer of the maximal intensity of bioluminescence field is determined for each region and its correlation with the hydrodynamic and hydrological characteristics of Crimean coastal waters is demonstrated.
