Summary:Nonlinear mathematical and simulation models of the servo system of pulse width control of brushless direct current motors in machine drives are developed. Results of the analysis of the influence in the nonlinear pulse-width converter on time and frequency characteristics of the control system are presented. The analysis is performed using the harmonic balance, slowly varying amplitudes methods, and numerical simulation.
