Summary:Creep behaviors of an AlCoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy with the body-centered cubic structure were investigated by nanoindentation. The enhanced strain gradient induced by higher strain rate leads to decreased strain rate sensitivity during creep process. The present alloy exhibits excellent creep resistance, mainly due to its large entropy of mixing and highly distorted lattice structure.
