Summary:In part 1 of this series, the fundamental logical structure of the computer-assisted total material design system for designing woven apparel fabrics was dealt. The executional logic, related databases and other components are discussed to perform the design task. This part aims to present the detailed computer algorithmic flow toward the development of a computer-assisted 'total material design system' (TMDS). The Paper starts with a brief introduction discussing about the importance and procedures of the designing. Developmental aspects of the design system and its criterions are explained. The functional architecture of TMDS is also given. Further, the executional procedure of the logic of TMDS has been tracked through a certain simple design problem. Some practical application examples of designing worsted fabrics are dealt according to the developed total material design logic in detail.
