Summary:Gravure register system is a uncertain system with multi-input-output, non-linear and strong coupling, according to two-color printing register system working principle, a mathematical model of two-color register error in shaftless driving mode is established, and extended to four-color register error model further more. Aiming to this model, an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) controller and control system for gravure register are designed, then the simulation system is build also. The simulation results show that the designed register control system is able to realize a high precision control for the multi-color register system, this provides a viable option for gravure printing register system which meets to the requirements of high precision, high speed and low reject rate.
