Summary:The aim of this paper is to develop an effective aggregation technique for wireless sensor networks that is mainly designed to suit air quality monitoring application. The solution is based on LEACH by Heinzelman et al.; a well known data aggregation technique for wireless sensor networks. Experimental results show the effectiveness of our solution in extending the network lifetime, while efficiently monitoring air quality.
