Summary:Castleman’s disease (CD) is a highly heterogeneous clinico-pathological entity belonging to the lymphoproliferative disorders. CD can occur in any part of the human body where lymph nodes are present. In addition, very few cases have been reported in hepatic hilum. Here, we present a case of a middle-aged female patient who was presented with abdominal pain and diagnosed as localized Castleman’s disease of hepatic hilar and retroperitoneal origin. Diagnosing CD is complex due to its resemblance to many other diseases. EUS and FNA may play a more important role in differential diagnosis of CD and other disease in digestive system.
