ACE Inhibitors and Statins in Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes

Adolescents with type 1 diabetes received one of four regimens: angiotensin-converting–enzyme (ACE) inhibitor–placebo, statin–placebo, ACE inhibitor–statin, or placebo–placebo. Neither medication resulted in a change in albumin excretion over 2 to 4 years.
