= triphenylphosphine} have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental and thermal analysis, IR and electronic spectroscopy, magnetochemical and conductivity measurements. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of [NiBr(HPhdtc)(PPh
3
)] · CHCl
3
confirmed a distorted square planar coordination for the NiS
2
PBr chromophore. For selected samples, the catalytic effects of graphite oxidation were studied. |
