Summary: | This special issue was compiled from papers presented at a recent Portland International Conference on Management of Engineering and Technology (PICMET). The Theme of the conference was Technology Management in the Age of Fundamental Change. One of the fundamental changes is our access to extremely powerful information technologies and a vast amount of available data that digitally provide us with Technology intelligence. This change has been the driver for several emerging methods in technological forecasting. This issue focuses on strategic decision making and how technological intelligence can be used for it.
