Summary:Initial examination revealed sinus rhythm, a heart rate of 69 beats/min, arterial blood pressure of 135/65 mmHg, and oxygen saturation of 97%. In this instance, age, female gender, and poorly managed glycemia played crucial roles in the skin injuries around both sides of the peri-orbital region, with additional pressure on the root zygoma and head gasket potentially exacerbating the situation on the right side. Written informed consent was obtained from the patient for publication of this manuscript.Declaration of Competing Interest The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.Acknowledgements We would like to acknowledge the reviewers for their helpful comments on this study.
