On the hotspot near a Kerr black hole: Monte-Carlo simulations

The motion of a hotspot near a Kerr black hole is considered as a clear model of the variability of quasars and AGN. The evaluation of the model is based on Monte Carlo methods. The results are presented for equatorial circular motion of the hotspot.
