Summary:Dispersibility of a multipowder mixture in aqueous solutions of an electrosteric dispersant was studied. The results show that stable dispersion of this powder mixture can be achieved if a minimum concentration of the dispersant is provided. The dispersed slurry displays Newtonian-like rheological behavior and can be slip cast to form a dense compact. Further, the theological behavior of the dispersed slurries is much less sensitive to solid-loading variation than that of the flocculated slurries.
