Summary:The composition of a complex deflocculent for ceramic slip based on oxyethylidenediphosphonic acid (OEDPA) and components of a conventional thinner containing liquid glass and soda is found by trial and error. A comparative study is performed of the effect of the proposed deflocculent and the deflocculent Reotan SL (Lamberti Co.) on the rheological properties of the ceramic slip modified by them and the physical-mechanical properties of the castings. The deflocculent containing OEDPA makes it possible to minimize the slip thixotropy for which the casting rate of the samples, characterized by higher shrinkage and characteristics, remains high.
