Summary:The present study reports the catalytic capability of the phytosynthesized silver and gold nanoparticles. UV-visible spectroscopic data provides simple and practical tool for the measurement of catalytic activity along with its kinetics. Synthesized nanoparticles were utilized as catalysts in the degradation of pollutant colouring chemicals methylene blue, methyl orange and rhodamine B. The environmental remediation from toxic dye stuffs is asserted herein.
