Summary:Lipomas are the most common soft-tissue tumor in humans, accounting for almost half of all soft-tissue tumors removed for any reason. Typically, these tumors are well circumscribed, are easy to remove, present few difficulties in diagnosis, and rarely recur. For this reason, they have often been regarded as insignificant. We present a case of infiltrating lipoma of the face that is unusual both for its diagnosis as well as its location.
