Chelation-assisted pentafluorophenylation of oximes

The pentafluorophenylation of salicylic aldehyde O-R-oximes is accomplished by their preliminary transformation into difluoroboryl chelate complexes, which react with (C 6F 5) 3SiF in the presence of sodium acetate.
