Summary:Various Neonicotinoid guanidine/amidine analogues 1-3 were synthesized by the reaction of cyanoguanidine with acetylpyrimidines or diacetylpyridine. Their spectral analyses identified the synthesized compounds 1-3. The preliminary bioassays showed that all synthesized compounds showed moderate insecticidal activities against cotton leafworm Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) and Wheat Aphid (Schizaphis graminum).
