nanocomposite. The highest sorption efficiency using CaO/Fe
2
O
3
nanocomposite was achieved 97.53%, which showed a high removal efficiency of Cr (III). The maximum adsorption capacity of CaO/Fe
2
O
3
nanocomposite using Langmuir isotherm model was obtained 60.60 mg/g. Also, the adsorption data were best fitted to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm model. Moreover, the adsorption process was spontaneous and exothermic nature. |
