Summary:Trivalent erbium modified Strontium Barium Lithium Sodium Niobate ferroelectric ceramics with Tungsten bronze (TB) filled structure were synthesized by the conventional solid state ceramic technique. The samples were calcined twice at 950°C and reported with orthorhombic phase (XRD) in Er 3+ : SBLNN (x = 0.00 to 0.10). The zeta potential and particle size have been measured by using particle analyzer and observed from −35.7 to -53.3 mV and 261.7 nm to 342.5 nm respectively. Evident from the zeta potential, samples have good stability. The maximum sintered density was observed to 95% of ρ th . The ferroelectric Curie temperature (Tc) is considerably lowered by the induction of Er 3+ ion. It is observed that the ferro- para electric phase transition temperature and Tan δ decreased with increase of Er 3+ doping concentration. Observed the highest values of ϵ RT and ϵ TC at x = 0.06. Measurement of resistivity studies as a function of temperature (PTCR) at constant voltage 10 V/cm applied and suitable for pyroelectric applications.
