Summary:In the current phase of ITER design activity, a possibility to use a lithium-cooled test module with water-cooled FW/blanket and vacuum vessel at the BPP is discussed. In this paper neutron activation of the lithium coolant, circulating in the ITER V5Ti5Cr alloy circuit and in the stainless steel circuit, is calculated. The results have shown, that in latter case the total long-lived γ-activity of coolant is greater by an order of two.
