Summary:The possibility of orientational effects in the ion-excited Auger election emission from single crystals due to the anisotropy of electron excitation under various orientations of the bombarding beam is investigated. It is shown that the Auger electron emission coefficient γX→ YZ( ϑ) strongly depends on the angle of incidence. The influence of thermal vibrations and the contribution of deep atomic layers have been estimated.
