A novel inducer, gamma-methyl-D-leucine, of D-aminoacylase from Alcaligenes denitrificans subsp. xylosoxydans MI-4

In the present work, various hydrophobic D-amino acids and their acetyl derivatives were tested as to improvement of the production of the enzyme. The authors report here a new inducer, gamma -methyl-D-leucine, for D-aminoacylase from A. denitrificans subsp. xylosoxydans MI-4.
