Summary:The response of photorefractive (PR) polymers subject to AC field biasing is analyzed within the space-charge field formalism. The frequency dependence of orientational enhancement is taken into account using a rotational diffusion model for the angular distribution of chromophores. The possibility for simultaneous utilization of AC and orientational enhancement techniques in polymers is discussed for different values of the rotational diffusion time.
