Summary:Complexes of dichlorodicarbonylruthenium(II) of the formula [RuCl 2(CO) 2L 2] where L = naphthisoxazole (NISOX), 2-aminobenzthiazole (ABTZ), allylthiourea (ATU), thioacetamide (TAM) and triphenylphosphite (TPT) have been prepared and characterized by IR, NMR and elemental analysis. All the complexes were fairly stable solids and can be handled in air for a short time.
