Photoinduced electron transfer from conjugated polymers onto TiO2
Photoinduced electron transfer from π-conjugated polymer films (e.g. MEH-PPV) onto nanocrystalline TiO2 is studied using photoinduced absorption (PIA) spectroscopy and light induced ESR. It is demonstrated that TiO2 acts as an efficient electron acceptor towards these polymers in the excited state.
