Synthesis of mesoporous hexagonal titanium aluminophosphate molecular sieves and their catalytic applications

The synthesis of stable titanium containing hexagonal mesoporous aluminophosphate (TAP) molecular sieves obtained by hydrothermal crystallization using the fluoride route is described. Catalysts were well characterized using XRD, FTIR, DRS-UV, solid-state NMR, SEM, TEM, ICP and sorption studies. The...

Summary:The synthesis of stable titanium containing hexagonal mesoporous aluminophosphate (TAP) molecular sieves obtained by hydrothermal crystallization using the fluoride route is described. Catalysts were well characterized using XRD, FTIR, DRS-UV, solid-state NMR, SEM, TEM, ICP and sorption studies. The catalysts are active for the epoxidation of several olefins using combined oxidant hydrogen peroxide and acetonitrile.
