Summary:This report establishes the Lyapunov's stability of the zero solution of problem concerning viscoelastic medium. The one-dimensional case of this problem has been studied recently, where the stability of the zero solution was established. The results of the previous study will be used in the present work. As the first step, an auxiliar abstract linear problem is studied. Following this, the linearized problem is considered. Finally, a proof of the main theorem 1 is given.
