Summary:The fiber alignment error has restricted the stability and efficiency of laser–diode fiber-coupled module. The theoretical calculation model is established by optical ray tracing based on software ZEMAX, and the fiber coupling efficiency has been calculated by software MATLAB. The calculated efficiency has been compared with experimental results, and the comparative results show that the calculated efficiency is entirely valid.
