Determination of the magnetic structure of metal-evaporated tape by small-angle neutron scattering

Small-angle neutron scattering has been applied to study the magnetic structure in a commercially available Co 80Ni 20 metal-evaporated tape. The results of the experiments showed that the tape consists of small ferromagnetic grains with a characteristic diameter of approximately 16 nm.
