Summary:Six hundred and fifteen male and 642 female Canadian subjects completed the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised in Canada. All but one factor comparison exceeded 0.90 and this and an independent space analysis confirmed that the factors of P, E, N and L were identical in Canada as in England. Reliabilities were very high except for P, which were somewhat lower especially for females. Intercorrelations of the scales were low. The usual sex differences obtained, i.e. men scored higher than women on P and E but lower on N and L. Cross-cultural comparisons, using only items Canadian and English scoring keys have in common revealed a highly significant difference on L, P and N with Canadian subjects scoring higher on L but lower on P and N than the English subjects. Canadian males scored somewhat higher on E than their English counterparts.
