Theoretical study of the gas X-ray diffraction of carbon dioxide
The effect of molecular electron correlation on the total (elastic plus inelastic) gas X-ray scattering intensities of CO 2 has been investigated theoretically. The study suggests that the correlation effect is substantially larger than indicated by a recent experimental investigation.
