Summary:New fluorine-containing double-chain surfactants have been prepared from substituted dithioacetamides; a distinctive feature of some of the surfactants prepared is that they contain a polymerizable group located on the ammonium head group. The aggregation behavior of four of the surfactants has been studied by freeze-fracture electron microscopy. The investigation has shown that under bath sonication all surfactants formed vesicles in water.
