Summary: | Abbitt et al presents a dramatic reconstruction of a panel presentation, given at the Performing Publics Conference in Toronto in June 2010, that centred around a number of performances by older women who persist in making unruly spectacles of themselves. For the purpose of the re-construction, have focused on some of the ideas as a means of editing individual papers down and together. While the result is closer to montage than narrative, it nonetheless suggests a level of collective coherence that may have been less immediately apparent when we papers are delivered. |
